How do I find information about Organization Signups ?

  • Each Organization has their own signups. You must contact your Organization's Representative to find information on team registration dates To find out who the representative is for a partular Organization Click Here for a listing of Organizations and contact info.

How many teams make the Playoffs ?

  • In most divisions the top 4 teams in each make the playoffs. In the U15 Division the top 8 in each division make the playoffs. As an example if there are 4 U09 Boys Competative Divisions then the top 4 teams in each will make the playoffs for a total of 16 U09 Boys Competative teams in this playoff Bracket.

What Age Groups are offered by the CBL ?

  • The CBL currently has the following divisions of play for both Boys and Girls, U09, U10, U11, U12, U13 & U15. In all divisions age can not be reached prior to September 1st. Click Here for Divison age limits for Current Season. As an example U09 is for 8 year old or younger if you turn 9 on or after September 1st you can play U09. We offer an Instructional Division at U09 only with modified rules of play to ensure that all players get playing time to learn and enjoy the game. When is the CBL Season ?

  • The CBL Regular Season runs from Mid-December to Mid-March. There is a 2 week break around the Holidays and the season resumes generaly the first week of the new year. The Instuctional Divisions Start play in Mid-January and play thru the end of March. Each team plays 12 games across this time. The Playoffs for the U15 Teams are generally played in a Tournament Style in one location on the last weekend in February. The remain Divisions playoffs usually start the weekend in multiple Gyms following the end of the season, with play continuing thru the week and the Finals scheduled the following weekend.

When will the season schedules be posted ?

  • The CBL Data (Teams and Gym Info) is entered by each organization during October and early Novemner. The scheduling process is done over the last two weeks in November and the schedule is completed and posted on the website the Thursday evening prior to the first game. Most years the season will start the second Wednesday in December.

When are the standings updated ?

  • Each organization is responsible for entering the scores for their HOME games for a given week into the system. The week starts on Monday and runs thru the following Sunday all scores for that week must be entered by the following Monday evening. If scores are not entered or entered incorrectly then please contact your CBL Representative and they will have this corrected. Please note that we only care that the winning and losing team is correct we will not correct scores if incorrectly entered we will only reverse the score if needed.

How Many games are played by each team ?

  • Each team has 12 games scheduled. We try to balance the schedule with 6 Home and 6 Away games. Sometimes this is not possible due to available Gym times of each organization.
